All Your Towing And Roadside Assistance Needs Will Be Met By Saratoga Towing

In 1847, Saratoga became a community when William Campbell built a saw mill in an area which was known as Campbell's Gap. This was located about two and a half miles southeast of today's downtown Saratoga. The mill was leased from Campbell in 1851 by Martin McCarthy who then built a toll road from the mill to the settlement known as Tollgate which was growing at the mouth of the canyon. When the area started developing, McCarthy changed the name to McCarthysville. Due to the amount of mills being built in the area, the name changed to Bank Hills in 1863.
